I live in Seattle. These are things that catch my attention, pique my interest and/or make me want to pass notes in class like a 7th grader
I went to see The Cat Empire last night at Neumos. The musicianship and the energy was incredible. Every song they played was an extended version highlighting a different instrument or member of the band. They are headed into the studio soon to record a new album and I can hardly wait.
If you ever have a chance to see them live, do it! You will not regret it.

Jon and I are off to see The Presidents! The 90’s were so good to Seattle it’s not hard to understand why we won’t let them go. What a perfect end to the weekend.
I saw Belle and Sebastian at Benaroya Hall last night. They were wonderful and charming. The only thing better than having an impromptu solo Belle & Sebastian dance party (which is super fun and highly recommended), is having a dance party with the ACTUAL band and hundreds of like-minded, equally giddy strangers.
Great band. Great night.
